A small building built to view a waterfall. A short walk from the car park, it is a good leg stretcher on a long drive.
Donnottar is an iconic castle. It is fabulously picturesque and it was once defended against Oliver Cromwell’s forces for 8 months and therefore the Honours
Nice wee town. Hills, mountains, a jail, a few good eateries/pubs and Inverrary Castle (or as you might know it Duneagle Castle from Downton Abbey).

You drive right past it on the A9 so its a good leg stretch and if its Scottish they sell it. It ain’t cheap but
